I don't know if I will like a class. Can I register after trying the first class?

Because space is limited and many classes fill up quickly, Pre-Registration is STRONGLY ENCOURAGED for all classes unless you are dropping in. You are not guaranteed a spot unless you pre-register.

If a student attends a class and does not register but wants to continue the session, a late fee of $5 per week will be added the day after, to the regular price until he/she registers.

For example, Student A attends first day of class, and forgets to register/bring their check book/cash. We will have to assess a $5 late charge starting the day after going forward for each week they are late, no excuses.

Are there trial classes?

Anyone can come and watch a class, but if you wish to participate you have to pay the drop in fee (please see next FAQ).

Can I drop in to any class?

Yes you can.

For Master Workshops - $20, i.e. Sudeep's Performance Workshop
For non core fitness classes - $15, i.e Bollywood Hip Hop, Urban Bollywood
For core fitness classes - $12, i.e. Southern Spice Cardio, Bollywood Burn

Fees must be paid at the beginning of class

Most of our classes are structured in such a way that new choreography is taught each class gearing up for a performance. If the current session is Fall or Spring, most non-core fitness classes are performance classes.

How often do students get to perform?

We conduct a Spring Showcase every May. Students in every class, except Core Fitness Classes, get the opportunity to perform in the showcase.

What are performance fees?

These are fees that every student who is performing in a showcase pays. It takes care of costume rental/purchase (excluding shoes). It is a per class fee. If a student wishes to take 2 classes in the semester, they have to pay a performance fee for each class. Performance/Costume fee varies per class (depending on costume). Please consult your instructor.

What is your refund policy?

There are no make up classes. You are not paying "per class" - you are paying a "tuition" for a`session and it is your responsibility to attend all classes. Please make sure your schedule will accommodate your attendance before registering. We are turning other interested people away once the class is full. If you do not feel you can attend the session in it's entirety, please wait until your schedule permits or join us for "drop-in" classes (fees vary).

There is a $25 for any class you cancel out of. This is because there are fees involved with processing credit transactions, we are honoring your spot and not flooding the classes. Cancellations must be done before the 1st class or by the 1st week of class. No refunds after the 1st week of class under any circumstance.

How do I audition to be part of the Project Pulse Team?

Please email auditions@projectpulse.org stating why you would be a good asset to the team, and your dance experience. We are always looking for passionate and motivated indiviuals to learn new dance styles and bring what they know to grow the team!
